Osama Bin Laden lecture

After 18 months in hiding, the religious fanatic Osama Bin Laden is to start a one-month whistle stop lecture tour of Europe. Thanks to SU Ents, the first stop on his limited tour will be here, at the University of York.

The event consists of a one hour lecture followed by a question and answer session where you'll be able to discuss the issues raised. Osama will also be around for a short time after the event in Vanburgh bar for more informal discussion.

The talk will cover topics such as Afghanistan, Palestine and USA foreign policy. Although the main focus of the lecture will be politics, Osama will also talk about the business management skills needed in running the largest international terrorist organisation in the World.

Osama Bin Laden did a similar tour of the UK in 2001, where he received a very positive reception.

Proceeds from the event will go to help the many al Qaeda suspects being held illegally in Guantánamo bay.
